The Story Begins...
In 2002 Managing Director, Mark Pugh, established Initial Consulting to fill a recognised void in the market. Small business owners and operators were unsure about where they could go for support and guidance as many were not comfortable going to traditional consulting firms many of which appear targeted more towards larger businesses.
With the experience of having delivered business and tertiary level programmes and services to businesses and individuals both in New Zealand and overseas for over 15 years and with a growing number of business owners and operators requesting support directly, Initial Consulting limited was established. Initially the range of services included support and coaching for SME's plus contract management for larger organisations.
With specialist experience in the hospitality industry the Initial Consulting Hospitality division was soon established providing hospitality businesses with valuable skills knowledge and experience gained from many years experience in a range of hospitality businesses around the world.
From humble beginnings Initial Consulting now has a team of experienced consultants and advisors and external specialists who work in a collaborative environment to provide a full range of business services.
